Are you passionate about storytelling through photography? Real Champions, Inc., a nonprofit dedicated to mentoring and empowering vulnerable children, is seeking a photography intern to help capture the heart of our mission.
Location:
We operate in two locations in South Carolina: Jasper County and Charleston County. Applicants should be local or willing to travel between sites (travel costs not covered).
Internship Details:
- Type: Unpaid
- Schedule: Flexible, based on events and availability
- Duration: Open to discussion (e.g., semester-long, project-based)
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities:
- Photograph events, programs, and community engagement activities
- Edit and organize photos for use in marketing, social media, and reports
- Collaborate with staff to understand the visual storytelling needs of the organization
- Maintain confidentiality and respect for the children and families we serve
Ideal Candidate:
- Has access to their own camera and editing software
- Is reliable, creative, and professional
- Has experience with event or portrait photography (student work welcome!)
- Understands the importance of ethical representation in nonprofit work
