Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse Manager specializing in Labor and Delivery. Based in Savannah, GA, the Registered Nurse Manager will oversee daily operations and staff in a labor and delivery unit. Responsibilities include supervising nursing staff, ensuring high-quality patient care, developing and implementing care plans, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Additionally, this role involves mentoring team members, fostering a collaborative work environment, and ensuring effective resource allocation.
Qualifications
- Expertise in Labor and Delivery Nursing, Nursing, and Labor and Delivery practices
- Strong foundation in Medicine and Critical Thinking to manage complex cases effectively
- Proven leadership and staff management skills
- Ability to develop and implement patient care plans while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Georgia and BLS/ACLS certifications
- Previous leadership experience in labor and delivery preferred
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
