Patrol Security Officer

Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable Patrol Security Officer responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment by performing routine patrols, monitoring property, and responding to incidents. The officer will conduct foot or vehicle patrols, enforce site policies, and report any suspicious activity or security violations.

The ideal candidate is observant, dependable, and able to respond calmly and professionally in various situations.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and surrounding property
• Monitor for suspicious activity, safety hazards, or unauthorized access on CCTV
• Respond to security incidents, alarms, and emergencies
• Enforce company and client security policies
• Prepare detailed incident and activity reports
• Provide assistance to employees, visitors, or contractors when needed
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and team members
• Secure doors, gates, and restricted areas as required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Previous security, military, or law enforcement experience preferred but not required
• Ability to remain alert and attentive during patrols
• Strong observation and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and follow procedures

Requirements

• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
• Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays if required
• Reliable transportation to work site
